Vintage German Two-Piece Wool Tuxedo Suit Shawl Collar Formal Wedding Retro

This listing is for a vintage German men's black wool and silk two-piece tuxedo suit.
This suit is made from a very fine lightweight black polyester/wool suiting with satin lapel facings, cuff accents and stripes down the trouser legs. The jacket has the typical tuxedo cut with the rounded shawl collar lapels and single-button front. Of particular interest are the cuffs, which have decorative trim present, as well. The front of the jacket has a single black synthetic button, as well as two per cuff. It is fully lined in black synthetic fabric and the shoulders are somewhat padded. The trousers are straight-leg in cut and taper slightly towards the ankles. They do not have cuffs at the ankles and they close at the waist via an internal button, external metal hook-and-eye with tab and a metal zipper.  They also have a pleated front. The waist, crotch and pockets are all lined in white cotton. Buttons for suspenders are also present inside the waistband.
Overall, the suit is in like-new, condition, and aside from a little dust from storage - most of which we cleaned off - the suit appears to have been worn only minimally, if ever, and does not appear to have any rips, holes, tears, stains, missing or damaged buttons or labels, etc.
Maker/tailor, region of origin and fabric content labels are present inside the jacket.
