Edited by Fred Bertram for the International Israel Numismatic Society (later eclipsed by AINA). The Journal was published from Feb 1966 (Vol 1, No 1) to May 1969 (Vol 3, No 2). Each issue 5½" x 8½", heavy cover, glossy inside stock, 32 pages with 8 to 16 articles and lots of photos. In the mid-1960s, this was the definitive journal for the collector of Israeli coins and currency. In this auction, you will get:
• Vol 1, No 1 autographed by Fred Bertram, with 13 articles.
• Vol 1, No 3 with 8 articles and a complete catalog of Israel's current paper money series.
• Vol 2, No 1 with 15 articles including a feature on one of Israel's forgeries (1960 1 Agora coin)
