Mint — Just as it was when made, showing no signs of use or handling
Near Mint —Almost mint but has been handled; may have slight color aging but exhibits no marks or flaws
Excellent — Minimal handling or use. No bends or creases - a clean, fresh card. Postally used cards are in this category if perfect in all other respects
Very Good — Corners slightly nubbed or rounded,  slight postmark on face, minor corner bends, edge wear; other small faults evident; overall the card still appears nice; majority of collectible cards
Good — Worn or rounded corners, creasing, ink marks, postal damage etc. Damage described at this level.
Fair — Flaws are more pronounced, may have tears, soiling, staining or other damage
Poor — Heavy damage or flaws; a space filler until a better card can be found.
