Soak the stone into the water for 10-15 minute, put it on the

Use 400 Grit side for rough grinding dull knives
Use 1000 Grit side for sharpening dull knives (or normal sharpening once a week)
Keep some water on the stone to stay wet
After honing, clean the knife w
ith wet cloth or water, then dry it
Use a soft brush to clean the stone, then put it in a ventilated place to dry
