—INFO ABOUT K2 FLIGHT INLINE SKATES—
K2 EXOTECH in-line skates offer superior comfort, support and maneuverability. Developed by K2 Corporation, a leader in the high tech world of skiing, by two competitive skaters, Tony Meibock and John Svensson. Tony was a member of the 1992 US Olympic Speed Skating Team. John, known as one of the fastest men on in-line skates, was a NCAA All-American cross country skier and a member of the US Ski Team from 1977-1981. Both were avid in-line racers.
Tony and John created a faster in-line skate trying to reproduce the light, comfortable fit of their favorite running shoes. Their idea was to incorporate a supportive cuff on a soft boot. The hinged cuff allows fore and aft flexibility, while still offering the lateral rigidity needed for effective power transfer.
