    Best Antique Blakeman & Henderson Limoges Vanity Jar Box 4 Gilt Dragons Hand Painted. Magnificent covered box has wonderful ornate detail. I have been dealing with antiques for decades and this is by far the single best piece of Limoges I have ever seen. Measures about 3 7/8" x 4 3/8" and 3 1/16" high; the inter opening is 2 7/8" x 3 5/8". Bottom has the Limgoes France backstamp and the Blakeman & Henderson marking. No cracks or chips - fine clean complete condition. An interesting mixing of fine French porcelain with Oriental design.
    Blakeman & Henderson was an export company that operated in Limoges, France, in the early 1900s. Blakeman & Henderson exported game plates, decorative china and dinnerware, all decorated by artists in Limoges.
