    8 ORIG 1940s MOVIE STAR STAMPS,  PHOTO POSTCARDS, ARCADE CARD: DOROTHY LAMOUR, ALAN LADD, VAN HEFLIN, DAVID ROSE, DANA ANDREWS, TOM DRAKE
    Nice instant collection of eight original 1940s Movie star Postcards, arcade cards and Star stamps. All postcards are unused and in good to very good condition. Star Stamps are in good condition. Arcade card in very good condtion. Here is the rundown
    *DOROTHY LAMOUR ARCADE CARD - 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" cardboard arcade card
    was originally sold in vending machines. Card features the faux Lamour signature “With Sincere Appreciation, Dorothy Lamour”.
    * 3 HOLLYWOOD STAR STAMPS. These 1 ½” stamps were sold on sheets for 10 cents apiece to collect or affix to letters and postcards. Stamps feature nice profile shots of ELEANOR PARKER #101, RICHARD CONTE #26, and VAN HEFLIN #56. All three are in very good shape, free of any rips or tears. Back of stamp shows it was originally affixed to a stamp album or scrapbook.
    *ALAN LADD POSTCARD – Great shot of Ladd in WWII Air Force uniform. Postcard is unused in VG condition with very minor wear.
    *DANA ANDREWS POSTCARD – Nice head shot of leading man. Postcard is unused in VG condition with slight blemish on lower third.
    *TOM DRAKE POSTCARD – Top photo of young leading man with faux signature. Unused postcard has minor creasing on left hand side.
    * DAVID ROSE POSTCARD - Best known as one
    of Judy Garland’s husbands, Rose was a major composer in the 1940s-1960s with his work on THE STRIPPER, HOLIDAY FOR STRINGS and CALYPSO MELODY. Original RCA postcard features a great painted portrait of rose on the front, nice bio on the back. Postcard is in overall good to very good condition with slight surface crease on front. Back is unused with some age stains. Overall, a nice unused postcard of a major music figure
