Here is an excellent condition, 2013 Jose Ramirez 130 Anos Classical Guitar.
This is a numbered Limited Edition classical guitar. It was made in the Jose Ramirez workshop at Calle de la Paz No 8, Madrid. These guitars were a special project created by Amalia Ramirez.
This particular Ramirez guitar achieves Amalia's goal of recreating the true Spanish tone of the guitars built by her Great-Grandfather Jose Ramirez the First. This is a deep bodied guitar and as such has tremendous sustain on the bass notes. Treble notes are warm and rich. Guitars from the early 20th century were instruments played in cafes with dancers. They had to be able to play any style of music, everything from folk ballads to flamenco. This guitar was recreated by Amalia to exactly capture that ability, and it does.
The overall condition of the guitar is excellent. There was one hairline crack near the fretboard, which was repaired by Goldtone (the U.S.A. distributor and authorized repair center for Ramirez Guitars). There is a small drop of glue from the repair on the corner of the label. The finish is completely original. The entire guitar was carefully inspected, and polished to remove minor finish scratches.
This hand crafted guitar was built using solid Indian rosewood for the back and sides, a Cedar neck and a solid Spruce top. The outer binding and headstock cap are made using fine quality rosewood. The guitar has an intricate rosette used on the 130 Anos model only, with a matching design on the top of the bridge.
Scale length on this guitar is 650 millimeters. This scale length creates clarity of tone with easy reach. the nut width measures 52 millimeters.
The ebony fretboard and frets are in very good condition. They have just been polished. Action on the 12th fret low E string is 4 millimeters and the 12th fret high E string measures 3.5 millimeters.
The excellent condition original label is stamped and notes that this is guitar number 491 of the series. This instrument has the original high ratio gold tuners in good condition.
The guitar will be carefully packed and shipped in its excellent condition Protege Humicase inside a sturdy box.
