Hand Painted Demitasse Coffee/Chocolate Cup & Saucer with Gold Accents
I believe this set dates to 1882-1890 based on the mark.
This set is stunning. The cup has a dainty gold handle and sweet violets hand painted on a white background alternating with panels of pistachio green in a swirl design. Panels are accented with gold and there is also gold around the rim and on the base of the cup.
The cup measures about 2 7/8"h x 2"diameter. The saucer is 4 3/8" in diameter.
Excellent condition: no crazing, no chips or repair,
no problems. No visible wear to the gold.
